Size and Weight

Hey Everyone,

This will probably be one of the shortest yet most informative posts :) Here are the dimensions of the Light for Life UC3.400 Flashlight.

Final dimensions are:
LENGTH - 11.5 in, 29.2 cm
BARREL DIAMETER - 1 3/4 in, 4.5 cm
HEAD DIAMETER (AT WIDEST POINT) - 27.5 in, 7 cm
WEIGHT - Approx. 16oz.

Hopefully this clears up a lot of information and helps to answer a lot of the questions below.

  1. I was wondering what the run time would be on this flashlight with a full charge?

  2. A coworker of mine recently field tested a “300 Lumens” light designed for the LAPD. I swear they said it was 300 lumens merely for the fact that it had three 100 lumens LEDs, because the light output was terrible. What kind of darkness penetration can we expect from the L4L?

  3. The Lumens, runtime, and charge time are all there. So are the features. But my question has to do with what is not in the brochure. What does the beam pattern look like? How far will the beam throw? How does a 3 led beam compare to a single led, multiple lumen, tac light beam? Bright is good, but how that brightness is channeled into a good beam & corona is what matters sometimes. At least for “tactical” lights.
