Long-Lasting Power
This next question comes to us from Mike. Mike asks “I may have missed it in the literature, but how long does the charge last? I know it only takes 90 seconds to recharge.”
In just 90 seconds, your Light for Life™ UC3.400™ will be fully charged and ready to produce another 120 minutes of light (60 minutes at 90 lumens and 60 minutes in reserve that starts at 25 lumens and cycles down to 15 lumens.
I hope this answers you question Mike. Let us know if you have any more questions.

I have a question/comment about the how the switch works. From the literature I’ve seen and the “Try It” banner on the website, it looks like you hold down the button to steadily increase the power to “peak” power, whereas if you just push the button like a normal flashlight you only get the 90-lumen mode, which is lower than most weapon-mounted flashlights.
If I am in a situation where I need the “peak” output, I would probably need it quickly. Therefore I would prefer to have peak output be the default and I can lower the output if I have time or inclination.
The flashlight I currently use has a double-click strobe like your light, but if you double click slowly it goes from full power to partial power. If you hold the button down longer than 1 second, it considers itself a “momentary” switch and shuts off right when you let go. I personally think a setup like this makes the most sense.
